Appointed by GFS USA President Delores Alleyne in the summer of 2013, The Rev. Rowena J. Kemp comes to GFS with an open heart and mind, eager to learn and share in GFS ministry. Rowena is the Assistant Rector at Trinity on the Green in New Haven, CT, having served as a presbyter in the Middlesex Area Cluster ministry for the past year. When asked, Rowena notes that she has been blessed for the short time she has served as a GFS USA Chaplain by the faith, enthusiasm, collaboration and friendship of the young ladies from branches around the country and the world as well as the legacy of strong matriarchs who continue to share the Good News of the Risen Savior not only in word but more importantly in their actions as they model Christian leadership and discipleship to the young women.
